"the unanswered question, the resolute doubt"

It doesn’t really matter because I don’t wear brand names.

But I wore pjs, then work clothes [UGH I hate hate hate khakis; if you wear them I immediately don’t like you], then my go-to cutoff shorts and a lacey top. Then I did go to a new thrift store and I discovered my new favorite sexy dress. It’s classy and sultry and elegant all wrapped up in one. Can’t wait to wear it in public :] It looks like it cost $100 and I got it for $4. What a steal!!!!!

Side rant: I’ve always loved shopping and new clothes and fashion, but this summer I’ve completely realized how stupid it is to keep buying brand new clothes. Every once in a while it’s nice to get brand new, over-priced clothes. But it’s hard for me to spend the money now knowing that there are so many amazing finds at thrift stores that are so much more interesting. It’s like a hunt to find them. It’s fun to see what you can find and what you can make of it. 

Thrift shopping doesn’t mean you’re poor, just that you’re creative! Try it sometime, and don’t feel ashamed or guilty.
